Job summary

For Mora Energy, a Dallas-based energy company, we are seeking a Process Engineer to support both field operations and capital projects. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and design across amine treating, glycol dehydration, and cryogenic gas processing facilities.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Field technicians to resolve issues, develop process simulations, and lead or assist with commissioning and start-ups in a dynamic midstream environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in midstream process engineering and operational support for compressor stations and gas processing facilities.
• Experience with compression, amine treating, glycol dehydration, and cryogenic gas processing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent project phases.
• Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations applicable to the midstream industry (API, ASME B31.3/4/8 and VIII, DOT 192/5, NACE, NFPA, Texas RRC requirements, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting upset conditions, equipment malfunctions, and process deviation for assets including amine treating, and cryogenic processing facilities
• Work directly with Engineering team, Area Manager, Operators, and Field techs to diagnose issues and implement corrective actions
• Develop, evaluate, and maintain process simulations
• Support daily production optimization and troubleshoot process bottlenecks
• Lead or support the design and review of engineering packages, cost estimation, procurement, and commissioning for new capital projects.
• Coordinate equipment startups, shutdowns, and minor modifications at the site level
• Provide support for MOCs, PSSR, PSM, and PHA workflows on existing operations and capital projects.

Position Summary

The Process Engineer will provide technical and operational support for company assets, including both sweet and sour natural gas gathering, treating, compression, amine treating, and cryogenic processing facilities. The role will include support for both field operations and capital projects.

Primarily office-based in Dallas, with regular travel to company assets during design, fabrication, construction, and commissioning phases.
