Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is seeking a Process Engineer to help expand our midstream assets through projects in cryogenic processing, NGL fractionation, exports, petrochemicals, and emerging technologies.

You will plan, design, analyze, and collaborate across teams to develop scopes, cost estimates, and robust PFDs and P&IDs. You will provide technical support to project teams, participate in design reviews and HAZOPs, and help ensure safe, compliant execution of large processing facilities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering; chemical engineering preferred.
MS and/or PE license considered a plus.
Experience levels depend on job level: Engineer 3–6 yrs, Senior 6–10 yrs, Staff 10+ yrs, Principal 12+ yrs with PE preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in a team environment with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and operations.
Lead process design and development efforts in support of major capital projects.
Assist project managers in process design, evaluating operating scenarios, and developing scopes and cost estimates.
Ensure quality of PFDs, H&M balances, P&IDs, Equipment Data Sheets, and other deliverables.
Provide technical support to capital project teams and third‑party engineering firms during design reviews, safety analyses, and commissioning.
