Job summary

Assistance Technique Internationale seeks a Process Engineer to support our Plate Operations in Washington, PA. You will develop and improve manufacturing processes, drive quality cost control, and work with production and engineering teams to meet customer specifications.

You will lead yield and product quality improvement projects, support new product qualifications, and communicate with customers to resolve issues, ensuring reliable, high-performance materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• STEM degrees or related experience will be considered in lieu of the three majors above.
• Experience with process analysis, controlled experiments, and data summarization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve processes.
• Resolve quality-related issues and troubleshoot process-related problems.
• Control quality costs.
• Dispositions of off-standard products and resolve quality issues.
• Interact with production workers daily on quality-related issues.
• Lead yield and product quality improvement projects.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Support customer new product qualification.
• Interface with customers to resolve complaints and rejections.
