Kymera International in RTP site, Durham, North Carolina, is seeking a Plant Engineer to provide technical leadership for the safe, reliable operation of a copper powder manufacturing facility. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and vendors to improve safety, yield, energy use, and asset condition.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related engineering required.
• Three or more years of engineering experience in manufacturing, process industries, or capital projects.
• Experience with industrial equipment, controls, utilities, and production processes.
• Ability to read equipment drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and vendor documentation.
• Professional Engineer licensure or Lean/Six Sigma training preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Provide engineering support for copper powder production equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Lead capital projects from concept through scope, budgeting, and startup.
• Develop specifications, drawings, and contractor scopes of work.
• Analyze data to identify constraints, failures, energy losses, and improvements.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support maintenance strategies and spare parts recommendations.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and equipment manufacturers; monitor safety and schedule.
• Maintain project files and documentation.
