Vishay Intertechnology, located in Dover, NH, seeks an Associate Engineer to support manufacturing operations by developing, improving, and sustaining production processes and equipment. You will work with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve yield, efficiency and reliability across products.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3–5 years in manufacturing, with strong problem-solving and DFx mindset.

Formación

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Three to five years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment desirable.
• Ability to translate design and process ideas into usable specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze internal product failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, test systems, equipment, and product failures.
• Analyze production and test data to ensure compliance with specifications and drive improvements in yield and process capability.
• Program, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment including winding, test, and environmental systems.
• Lead prototype-to-production transitions and promote Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Support capital equipment planning, vendor qualification, and installation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and drive cost reductions.
