Job summary

Marmon Group in Shelburne, VT is seeking a Process Engineer to support daily production in a fully on-site role. You will optimize extrusion, stranding, and cabling processes while leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with strong technical foundation.
• Proficiency in data analysis, problem solving, and usage of MS Office.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methods preferred.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for extrusion, stranding, cabling, and related processes.
• Lead root cause analysis of quality and downtime issues; implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Reduce scrap, improve productivity, and stabilize processes to protect on-time delivery and cost performance.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results.
• Lead process development, validation, and industrialization for new product introductions.
• Lead installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment and technologies.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation; analyze process and quality data to drive optimization.
• Correlate product performance characteristics to process variables and implement adjustments to meet specifications.
• Evaluate and integrate new equipment, materials, and technologies in collaboration with vendors and cross-functional teams.
