Job summary

Sandvik Coromant, Westminster, SC, seeks a Process Engineer to join our Inserts Production team. You will develop and optimize manufacturing processes, lead continuous improvement, and support safety, quality, and cost initiatives on a world-class cutting tools line.

This role blends shop-floor collaboration with data analysis and project leadership. Ideal candidates will have a BS in Engineering, strong analytical and communication skills, and hands-on experience with lean methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes and process formulations.
• Evaluate existing production methods and identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, safety, and cost performance.
• Provide daily technical support to production teams, resolving process, equipment, product performance, and quality-related issues.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Design, implement, and validate process improvements and production enhancements.
