Job summary

Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Inserts Production team. You will drive process innovation, implement new production technologies, and support sustainability and Digital Transformation 4.0 initiatives while helping deliver world-class cutting tools.

You will coordinate machinery investments, develop process controls, analyze production data, and lead continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes.
• Provide daily technical support to production teams, resolving process, equipment, product performance, and quality-related issues.
• Lead capital investment projects and new production technologies.
• Support Sustainability and Digital Transformation 4.0 initiatives.
• Collaborate with R&D, production technology centers, suppliers, and global production facilities to drive innovation and best practices.
• Review process requirements and assess impacts related to cost, schedules, and implementation.
