Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar role within the manufacturing industry; steel experience preferred.
• Experience in materials control, production control, and quality control preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and IATF 16949.

Responsibilities

• Determine cost-effective production methods to produce products.
• Increase productivity through management of process improvements.
• Work with vendors, customers, and employees to improve systems.

Skills

Strong CAD/3D modeling skills

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Strong organizing, planning and multitasking skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with Lean manufacturing

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Formal Lean training (Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)

SolidWorks or AutoCAD
