Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a qualified Process Engineer to support our Red Bluff, California manufacturing facility. You will collaborate with production, product development, customer service and sales on process improvements and equipment, with relocation to Red Bluff required.

The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, cross-site process integration, layout design, and material handling improvements, plus efficient collaboration with design engineering.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred (mechanical, manufacturing, or related)
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in a manufacturing discipline with preference for fenestration industry
• Strong project management skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for continuous improvement efforts and new product development with regard to production processes and equipment.
• Process information improvements
• Integration of processes across multiple manufacturing facilities
• Lean manufacturing applications
• Layout design
• Material handling improvements
• Assist with specification of production equipment
• Work with design engineering and production to establish/improve methods and systems regarding window and door manufacturing
• Provide additional support as required
