Precision Castparts seeks a Process Engineer to drive manufacturing performance in a fast-paced production environment. You will apply engineering expertise, data analysis, and continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science, or related field).
  • Knowledge of investment casting technology, processes and manufacturing methods are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance shell process quality using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Support daily production operations by troubleshooting process issues and implementing sustainable solutions
  • Monitor, test, and control slurry chemistry to maintain consistent process performance
  • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic dipping systems to improve quality and throughput
  • Analyze scrap, rework, and process performance data to identify trends and drive improvements
  • Maintain process stability through equipment monitoring, parameter control, and optimization efforts
  • Support engineering change management, including review, documentation, validation, and implementation
  • Participate in audits and quality investigations; implement and track corrective and preventive actions
  • Evaluate product designs and equipment capabilities to ensure manufacturability within existing processes
  • Lead and support capital projects and tooling initiatives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve plant goals
  • Perform additional engineering and quality-related duties as assigned
