Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Switzerland AG is seeking a Process Engineer to support manufacturing excellence by improving processes, tools, and work instructions. You will interact with shop floor staff, lead CAPEX and lean projects, and work with quality, purchasing, and NPI teams to implement effective solutions.

The role requires at least a bachelor’s in engineering and 2+ years of experience, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of engineering/manufacturing experience.
• Strong English reading/writing/speaking skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems using structured methods.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge preferred.
• Organized and methodical with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily to long-term manufacturing tasks and projects.
• Interacts with shop floor teams to identify issues and solutions.
• Leads continuous improvement projects to reduce costs.
• Manages CAPEX projects from justification to completion.
• Leads root cause analyses with cross-functional teams.
• Supports NPI tooling and process design.
• Develops work instructions and ECNs to completion.
• Assists with vendor audits and cross-functional liaison.
