Process Engineer – Inventory Operations

As a Process Engineer-Inventory Operations, you will drive continuous improvement by defining and owning all phases of the process management life cycle from ideation through implementation and sustainment. You will partner with cross-functional teams to transform our enterprise processes and systems through the identification and valuation of opportunities and problems, determining root causes, identifying gaps and countermeasures. You will lead the implementation of solutions that drive strategic initiatives for our Inventory operations teams. Along the way you’re communicating and aligning with business stakeholders. Our Process Engineer-Inventory Operations is responsible for: Ownership of the process and project life cycle including ideation, definition, analysis, process design, improvement, launch, adoption, and sustainment. Facilitating and leading discussions with business leaders, analytic partners, and development engineering to define business requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure efforts are focused on critical needs. Identifying improvement opportunities to decrease cost, improve delivery, achieve quality targets, or improve safety by researching issues, performing root cause analysis, compiling and analyzing qualitative and quantitative information to conclude and communicate well-reasoned decisions. Establishing schedules, guidelines, and procedures and determining the most effective way to deliver a complete solution to an identified problem or opportunity. Exploring and proposing different solutions for the same problem, situation, or workflow using your knowledge of continuous improvement tools and business requirements. Communicating clearly, providing context, risks, and recommendations, and sharing complete information with the senior leadership team and other stakeholders for the best outcomes. Executing multiple projects at one time that span multiple teams.

What Kind of Folks Are We Looking for?

People with a passion for continuous process improvement, and experience pursuing operational excellence by moving projects from ideation through to successful implementation. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Friendly and tactful with the ability to influence others, effectively manage conflict, exercise sound judgment, effectively manage highly sensitive and confidential information, interact at all levels within the organization, and build cross-functional partnerships across the business. Intellectual curiosity. Why? What? How? If you find yourself always wanting to learn more and broaden your knowledge base, this could be the role for you. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to speak and write clearly, with confidence, charisma, and competence for a wide variety of audiences, including stakeholders and the senior leadership team. Advanced problem-solving skills. The ability to determine which tools to use to address the identified root cause and the flexibility and creativity to modify your tools or solution to suit the specific situation, when appropriate. Plays well with others. You will be working in a high-functioning team environment. We work together to win together. A mind for the details. The ability to focus on the details while not losing sight of the big picture. Agile in a fast-past environment. We move quickly. Thriving in an environment that never stops, is a must. Organization and time management skills in spades. You’ll be handling multiple projects and deadlines that will require you to prioritize then re-prioritize… then… re-prioritize again. Rebel with a cause. You are always looking beyond the obvious to strive for continuous improvement. Takes a hold of the wheel. You’ll need to take the initiative and be comfortable doing so.
