Job summary

Mativ is seeking interns in Neenah, WI for a 10+ week internship starting May 2026. You will work with the Technical and Operations teams on process improvements, participate in customer trials, and help identify paper defects in a collaborative mill setting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Paper Science, Chemistry or Engineering, have at least one year of coursework completed, and a minimum 3.0 GPA. Strong Excel skills and initiative are expected for this role.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and working toward a degree in Paper Science, Chemistry or Engineering.
• Minimum 1 full year of coursework completed; preference for 2 years.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Work with Technical and Operations team on process efficiency improvements, cost savings and/or technology advancement.
• Attend meetings with leadership team, report out and complete assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify paper defects and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in new customer trials.
• Assist leadership in modifying or creating standard operating procedures.
• Lead project work as assigned by mill management.
