Job summary

Titan Group in Virginia offers a Process Engineer Intern position at its Roanoke Cement Plant in Troutville. The internship reports to the Cement Production Manager and includes safety training and hands-on process monitoring to boost efficiency.

You will assist in developing departmental plans, support reporting and audits, and communicate issues clearly to management. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in chemical, material science, or process engineering and commit to at least 35 hours

Qualifications

• Graduate or student actively pursuing a degree in Chemical, Material Sciences or Process Engineering.
• Self-starter, self-directed, and able to move ideas forward; able to influence others.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with professional decorum.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and judgment capabilities to anticipate issues and provide solutions.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Must have basic project management skills.
• Prior internship or Co-op experience in heavy industry beneficial.
• Positive attitude to achieve goals and deliver results.
• Availability to commit to a minimum of 35 hours per week.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Process Engineer Intern at our Roanoke Cement Plant in Troutville, VA. This position will report directly to the Cement Production Manager. The Internship will consist of the following:
