Job summary

Wolfspeed in Marcy, NY is seeking an engineer to develop, qualify, and optimize Ion Implant processes in our state-of-the-art Silicon Carbide wafer fab. You will drive process improvements and work with Product Engineering and R&D to introduce leading technologies, ensuring performance, yield and quality.

The role requires a BS in engineering, knowledge of semiconductor fabrication equipment, and strong technical writing.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of processes and equipment used in semiconductor fabrication.
• Proficient in technical writing and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Challenge the team to drive best in class technical performance, yield, and quality.
• Define and execute experiments using DoE methodology, analyzing data with sound statistical methodologies, to drive improvements.
• Present technical data and project updates to peers and management in both casual and formal environments.
• Travel occasionally to various manufacturing sites and vendor locations to learn and share knowledge.
