Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business segment of Element Solutions Inc, is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize operations and maintain products via Statistical Process Control. You will work under the Engineering Manager to boost first pass yields, streamline processes, and implement cost improvements.

Qualifications include a B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years in a process engineering role, with Six Sigma Green Belt exposure.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3+ years in a process engineering role preferred.
• Exposure to Continuous Improvement methodologies (Green Belt or similar).

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of production for quality, cycle time, and safety compliance.
• Oversee SPC activities for critical processes and drive root-cause analysis.
• Prepare periodic statistical reports for customers and ensure timely submissions.
• Manage Nonconforming Materials Reports (NCMR) and drive corrective actions.
• Support QA on customer complaints related to batch manufacturing processes.
• Write and modify Work Instructions for existing products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process equipment issues.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on equipment repairs and MOC for process changes.
