Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil) with ≥5 years of process engineering experience.
• Ability to complete mass and energy balances.
• Experience with piping systems and unit operations in pharmaceutical, food, and chemical processing.
• Understanding of applicable design codes, standards and specification requirements, and ability to interpret them.

Responsibilities

• Develop P&ID’s, equipment and piping specifications, complete hydraulic sizing, and heat transfer calculations.
• Attend design meetings, perform field surveys, facilitate Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), field vendor quotations and review vendor submittals.
• Project roles will vary from pure consulting to detailed design, commissioning, and startup services.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical validation processes or CIP/SIP experience is desirable.
