Job summary

Peak Nano, a growing company commercializing nanolayer film, seeks a Process Engineer II to lead commissioning of a renovated production line and manage the technical transfer to a contract manufacturer. You will work with product engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure high quality processing that meets customer specifications.

The role requires hands-on equipment work, strong documentation, and the ability to travel up to 50% during scale-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering with 5+ years experience or 10+ years without degree.
• 3+ years in film/roll-to-roll conversion with line commissioning or tech transfer.
• Ability to write clear, structured technical documentation (work instructions, routings, specs).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% during heavy scale-up periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and start-up of a renovated production line with IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Develop commissioning protocols, test plans, and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
• Travel to CM site to support equipment setup, trials, and line qualification.
• Identify and resolve process deviations, yield issues, and reliability problems.
• Develop and standardize work instructions across product lines for consistency.
• Address film quality concerns and participate in root-cause analysis.
• Drive scale-up from late-stage development to production trials ensuring targets.
