Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or Science in listed fields.
• 2 to 4 years in manufacturing or lab environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on mentality.
• Ability to adjust to shifting priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
• Experience with composite materials is a plus.
• Programming experience (VBA, C/C++) is a plus.
• CAD experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) a plus.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Minitab experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new or existing products.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Quality/Production) to improve quality and satisfaction.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement countermeasures.
• Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing concepts to cut costs and increase throughput.
• Create and manage manufacturing documentation and provide technical oversight.
• Lead manufacturing trials supported by data analysis and next steps.
• Guide technical direction of assigned areas and ensure on-time delivery.
• Plan and lead incorporation of engineering flowdown requirements.
• Expand capability of processes, materials, and products.
• Improve workload management capabilities.
