Job summary

Brewer Science, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer II or III for the Rolla, MO facility. This role focuses on evaluating, developing, and implementing programs for process characterization, continuous improvement, and equipment design.

You will work in a cross-functional team to enhance product quality and yield, while supporting safety and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates hold a chemical engineering background with 2+ years of manufacturing experience, or a Master’s with related

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field plus 2+ years of chemical manufacturing experience, or
• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline plus 2+ years of experience, or
• An equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform product and process characterization.
• Conduct work with processes, plans, investigations, structures or equipment of limited scope.
• Prepare workbook and process specifications, test materials, and process studies.
• Maintain accurate records of data, procedures, experiments, and findings for future reference.
• Analyze data to drive continuous improvement in products, processes, and systems under supervision.
• Prepare periodic reports summarizing outcomes, improvements, challenges, and roadblocks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
• Support safety procedures and guidelines within the manufacturing facility.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field

Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline

Equivalent combination of education and experience
