Job summary

Fiber Materials Inc. seeks a Process Engineer to join the Research & Technology team in Maine. You will define and implement process development activities, deliver prototype and low-rate production components, and lead technical documentation including drawings and manufacturing instructions.

You will coordinate with engineering and production, drive process improvements, and serve as a technical SME for assigned processes with a strong emphasis on safety and communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical Engineering or related.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience writing process procedures or instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute technical drawings and travelers.
  • Familiarity with composite manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process development and LRIP manufacturing for high-temperature composites programs.
  • Maintain engineering notebooks, process records, and lab books.
