Job summary

BW Design Group is seeking a Process Engineer II to join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice. You will collaborate with industry experts to solve complex problems for leading clients, delivering high-quality process solutions and supporting capital projects across various sectors.

You will design and implement integrated process-related projects, manage vendors and schedules, and contribute to multiple design-build efforts while traveling as needed to project sites and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial project engineering experience involving process and related automation applications.
• Experience in the food, dairy, beverage/brewery, or personal care industries is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of process flow diagrams, piping & instrument diagrams, mass & heat balances, basic piping system design, pump sizing.
• Practical understanding of sanitary design and construction methods and knowledge of process electrical/ control and instrumentation design integration preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrated process-related projects including design, equipment selection, installation specs, vendor and contractor management.
• Contribute to all aspects of integrated design-build projects in the $2M–$10M range.
• Vendor/contractor management, equipment procurement, schedule management, project engineering, site management/installation support.
• Interact with clients and team to deliver high-quality solutions with consistency and accuracy.
