Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Process Engineer II for a Contract job with a client in Framingham, MA(Hybrid). You will support pharmaceutical manufacturing by troubleshooting processes and leading validation studies for tablet, ointment, and liquid dosage forms.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Process Engineer II job responsibilities include:

• Provide technical support for manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting of tablet, ointment, and liquid dosage forms.

• Lead and document validation and development studies, ensuring robust and compliant process execution.

• Conduct root cause analysis and support investigations, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for deviations and change controls.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and continuous process improvements.

• Interpret and apply engineering fundamentals to optimize process control strategies and critical process parameters.

• Support product commercialization efforts, ensuring efficient, scalable, and compliant manufacturing processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Biochemical Engineering, or related scientific field; Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years with a BS degree or 3 years with an MS degree in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing.

• Proven experience in process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and supporting investigations and change controls.

• Strong background in dosage form manufacturing (tablet, ointment, liquid) and familiarity with product serialization and validation protocols.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
