The Process Engineer I will support manufacturing operations within the PDBF (Polymer Development and Bulk Fabrication) organization at Medtronic's North Haven, CT site, including a chemical manufacturing environment focused on the production of polymer-based materials used in suture manufacturing. In this role, you will partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Engineering teams to support the day-to-day performance of manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and help ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements. As an early-career engineer, you will gain hands-on experience supporting process development, equipment implementation, troubleshooting, validation, and new product introduction activities within a highly collaborative manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s degree and 0+ years relevant experience.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
Experience supporting manufacturing, process development, laboratory, or engineering projects through internships, co-ops, research, or full-time employment.
Experience analyzing data and applying problem-solving tools to identify and resolve process, equipment, or product-related issues.
Experience working in a regulated environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other manufacturing industries.
Experience supporting process validation, equipment qualification, engineering studies, or new product introduction (NPI) activities.
Experience using engineering, statistical, or data analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, Excel, MATLAB, or similar software.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$71,200.00 - $106,800.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
