Job summary

DiaSorin in the United States seeks a Process Engineer I to identify opportunities and implement changes to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, implement tooling and production equipment, and optimize material flow.

The Process Engineer I will assist with Instrument Manufacturing processes across Production, Quality Control, and Depot, driving Lean initiatives and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering or related technical field with required relevant work experience.
• 2+ years process engineering or manufacturing experience in relevant industry; advanced degree preferred.
• 1+ years experience in GMP/FDA regulated industry or ISO environment preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint; high proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations; highly organized with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Participates in or leads major process improvement initiatives from identification to execution.
• Identify gaps in processes, develop project plans, monitor progress, and assess outputs.
• Champion Lean principles to maximize yield, capacity, and capability.
• Create and maintain Manufacturing Instructions, routings; ensure effective training.
• Manage/execute process validation activities: IQ, OQ, PQ.
• Analyze Value Stream Maps for efficient factory utilization.
• Analyze factory data and suggest projects to improve efficiency.
• Develop best practices and standardized operating instructions.
