Job summary

Diasorin is seeking a Production Manager to guide the development, planning, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods and operations for diverse diagnostics products. You will oversee material, equipment and personnel efficiency, drive budgets, write technical documents, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes Lean initiatives, cross-functional collaboration with development groups, and leadership over hourly staff to meet production goals with high quality and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years direct manufacturing supervision in ISO9001/ISO13485 or cGMP environment.
• 3 years in biologics GMP/GLP or equivalent.
• Six Sigma/process excellence training/certification preferred.
• Experience developing new product documentation and design transfer.
• Knowledge of cell culture, sterile products, and protein purification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient Word, Excel and presentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct development, planning and maintenance of manufacturing methods and processes.
• Ensure effective use of material, equipment, and personnel.
• Control labor and capital expenditures; assist in budgets.
• Write procedures, specifications, protocols and production records.
• Support FDA, ISO, CMD/CAS regulatory requirements.
• Lead process improvement and capital project teams.
• Develop and revise operating metrics and manufacturing specs.
• Train and evaluate staff; enforce safety and SOP compliance.
• Oversee cross-functional transfer of new products and processes.
• Manage cost modeling and standard costing data.
