SGL Carbon SE is seeking an experienced engineer for Morganton, NC with 3–5 years in industrial manufacturing or a strong new graduate. The role focuses on maintaining knowledge of facility processes, testing and evaluating processes and products, and recommending improvements in quality, productivity, safety and costs.
You will monitor processes, run experimental tests, analyze data, prepare technical documentation, and support managers. Excellent written and verbal communication are required.
We need an experienced engineer with 3-5 years of industrial manufacturing experience, and we are also looking for a new grad or someone with less than 3 years' experience.
Summary of Job Content:
This position develops and maintains an overall knowledge of the facility’s processes, products, and commonly used concepts, practices and procedures. This position tests and evaluates processes and products, using instructions and pre-established guidelines, and makes recommendations for improvements in quality, productivity, safety and costs.
