Heraeus Quartz North America, LLC. has an immediate opening for a talented Process Engineer I to join our Engineering team at our Buford, GA. facility.
The primary responsibilities of the Process Engineer I is to assume technical ownership of assigned process areas and, utilizing engineering, continuous improvement, and project management skills, improve and optimize the process areas to achieve company goals.
The role is both hands‑on and highly data driven. The successful candidate will be comfortable with working directly with manufacturing equipment and processes, have strong communication and collaboration skills and an analytical mindset. A typical day will involve working out on the plant floor interacting closely with Production and Maintenance teams and gathering and analyzing data to evaluate and improve the manufacturing processes.
