Job summary

Milestone Staffing Services seeks an Instrumentation & Automation Engineer with offshore platform experience to perform basic engineering calculations and analyses using prescribed methods and procedures. You will apply engineering principles with direction from a supervisor and interface with other technical disciplines, vendors, and contractors to gather data and provide input.

• Performs basic engineering calculations, analyses, and other tasks using prescribed methods and procedures.
• Interfaces with other technical disciplines, vendors, and contractors to provide or gather necessary data.
• Prepares specifications with direction, including design data, applicable codes/standards, and vendor drawing requirements.
• Develops foundational understanding of engineering drawings and industry regulations.
• Learns applicable industry and regulatory requirements for assigned discipline.
• Participates in site visits with more experienced engineers or designers to understand field conditions.
• Assists in assembling project documentation and ensuring information is filed correctly.
• Contributes to the development of accurate and code-compliant specifications.
• Maintains communication with supervisors on work progress, issues, or support needs.
• Continuously practices Quality Control while executing the work.
• Actively promotes and personally observes all company, client, and regulatory Health, Safety, Security, & Environment (HSSE) procedures.
