Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc is offering a Process Engineering Internship at its Clean Tech affiliate site in Dundee, MI. You will gain hands-on experience across site operations and lead a meaningful project from planning to execution.

You’ll receive mentorship, formal development activities, and extensive networking with leaders and professionals in your field during the summer. Housing and relocation are not specified.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or management field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
• Expected graduation December 2027 or Spring 2028.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in a modern manufacturing environment.
• Own a meaningful project and drive to completion.
• Support maintenance planning by converting work orders from calendar-based to hourly-based systems.
• Engage with leaders and professionals for professional development and networking.

Job description

As a Process Engineering Intern, you will gain exposure to multiple facets of a successful manufacturing site operation. You'll engage with leaders and associates throughout the site and receive hands‑on experience through ownership of a meaningful project. Working to convert work order plans from calendar‑based to hourly based preventative maintenance plans. In addition, you'll round out your internship experience with professional development and networking activities with leaders & professionals in your field.

YOU ARE:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree & majoring in Industrial Management, Industrial Technology, Operational Management, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028
• During the internship period, will be residing within a commutable distance to Clean Tech, Inc located in Dundee, MI 48131
• Eligible to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship, & will not require employer sponsorship after graduation
