Plastipak is offering a Manufacturing Operations Intern position in Plant City, FL, for a summer internship with hands-on project ownership and mentorship. You will gain exposure to the full site operation while developing professional skills and networking with leaders and professionals in your field.

The program includes a detailed work plan, a mentor, formal development activities, and social events, with opportunities for growth and exposure through leadership meetings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing completing bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Industrial Technology, Operational Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is expected.
• Graduation expected Dec 2027 or Spring 2028.

Responsibilities

• Own a meaningful project and gain hands‑on experience at Plastipak manufacturing site.
• Engage with site leaders and associates to develop professional skills.
• Participate in leadership meetings and job shadowing activities.

Education

You Are

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree & majoring in Industrial Management, Industrial Technology, Operational Management, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 3.0
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028
• During the internship period, you will be residing within a commutable distance of our Plant City, FL manufacturing location
• Eligible to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship, & will not require employer sponsorship after graduation
