Job summary

Novonesis is hiring a Process Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will optimize processes, lead improvements, and work across operations, quality, and engineering to deliver high-quality biosolutions.

The role emphasizes Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven decision-making, with opportunities to lead capital projects and mentor operators. A GMP background and strong collaboration skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Biological Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience in GMP-regulated industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering and manufacturing operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize process and equipment performance to improve yield, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Provide technical leadership for process improvements and change projects.
• Support compliance with Novonesis policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, training materials, checklists, and documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis tools.
• Sponsor and manage capital projects, ensuring successful implementation and performance follow-up.
• Review production batches and identify opportunities to improve operational performance and efficiency.
• Support technical training and certification efforts for operators and other plant personnel.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate project results and recommendations.
• Ensure Quality, Environmental, and Safety standards are incorporated into process and equipment changes.
