Job summary

Morton Industries, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to plan, develop, and improve manufacturing processes at our Fort Worth facility. You will review customer and engineering requirements, establish routings, identify equipment needs, and develop labor standards to ensure safe, repeatable, and cost-effective production.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Quality, Tooling, Maintenance, and other departments, perform time studies, analyze process performance, and lead or support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience developing routings, time studies, and manufacturing standards.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and specs; selecting processes and tools.
• Experience with ERP software; Syteline preferred.
• Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specifications to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Develop and improve manufacturing methods for new and existing products.
• Establish and maintain process routings and standard work.
• Identify resources required to manufacture each part.
• Estimate setup, cycle, and labor time using time studies.
• Analyze process performance to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches and changes.
• Apply data analysis to validate time-study data and labor standards.
