Job summary

Morton Industries Fort Worth LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to plan, develop, and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products at our Fort Worth facility. You will collaborate across Sales, Operations, Quality, Tooling, and Maintenance to support safe, repeatable, and cost-effective production, using time studies, standard methods, and data-driven process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in process/industrial/manufacturing engineering.
• Experience developing routings, conducting time studies, and establishing manufacturing standards.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and selecting processes, equipment, tooling, fixtures, and gauges.
• Experience with manufacturing ERP software; Syteline preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• CAD experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specifications to determine manufacturing requirements and process feasibility.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods for products.
• Establish and maintain process routings, standard work, and documentation.
• Identify machines, tools, fixtures, and materials required for parts.
• Estimate setup, cycle, and labor times using time studies and data.
• Analyze process performance and implement improvements for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Collaborate with departments to support launches and engineering changes.
• Lead or support root-cause analysis for process issues.
• Prepare technical analyses to support tooling, capacity, and staffing decisions.
