Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Process Engineer in Emporia, Kansas to provide process engineering support to the facility, improve efficiencies, troubleshoot operations, and assist in capital project design.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 1–2 years of plant operations experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office. You’ll collaborate with multiple teams to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in plant operations, maintenance and safety is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Word, Excel and Project.
• Knowledge of NFPA 36, NFPA 61, OSHA and EPA preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support to the facility to improve efficiencies and troubleshoot operations.
• Assist in capital project design and evaluation to meet business needs.
• Follow Process Safety Management guidelines and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with facility management to define technical needs and CapEx requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and cross-functional teams for project execution.
• Review production data to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
