Job summary

Materion is seeking a Process Engineer to apply engineering principles to maintain and improve the plant manufacturing process, with a continuous improvement focus on process quality and cost.

You will develop and execute continuous improvement plans for the manufacturing process, provide technical process support to operations and maintenance, identify and implement process controls, and interact with customers and suppliers as the key process technical resource.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial or related).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop & execute continuous improvement plans for the manufacturing process.
• Provide technical process support to the operations and maintenance groups including problem solving & troubleshooting.
• Identify & implement process controls.
• Maintain product standards and lead continuous improvement process to improve yield & performance.
• Interact with customers & suppliers as the key process technical resource.
