Rust-Oleum is seeking a Process Engineering Co-Op in Cleveland, Ohio. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about polyurethane sealants and coatings manufacturing. You will collaborate with the process and quality engineering team while working on safety, quality, and production processes.
The ideal candidate is a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, specifically in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines. Of note, your responsibilities may include leading projects, collecting process data, and supporting various engineering initiatives.
During each term as a Process Engineering Co‑Op they will have the opportunity to learn, experience and contribute to the operations of the polyurethane sealants and coatings manufacturing process. The co‑op will develop an understanding of the relationship between the manufacturing process and the various teams that support the process.
Will work in conjunction with the process and quality engineering group to support safety, quality, maintenance and production processes. Learn and use process tools such as Process Safety Management, Behavioral Risk Improvement and Lean Six‑Sigma tools including 5S, A3 Problem Solving, Statistical Process Control and Value Stream Mapping.
