Carmeuse North America in Pittsburgh invites applications for a Process Engineer Co-Op (6 months) focusing on lime kiln process and production units. You will collect data, analyze, and report findings, working with Site Management and Corporate Process Engineering on projects to support plant operations.
The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s in chemical or industrial engineering, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with MS Office; travel to other sites may be required.
The Process Engineer Co-Op will work with various departments and functions to gain knowledge of the business and our culture. The Process Engineer Summer through Winter Co-Op (6 months) will be responsible for supporting engineering activities related to lime kiln process and associated production units. This position will collect data, perform analysis, and prepare reports on different unit operations. Expectations are to work with the Site Management team and Corporate Process Engineering on various projects, tasks and initiatives to support the plant kiln operations.
