Job summary

Stonhard is seeking a Process Engineer to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and support capital projects. Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, PFMEA, standard work, and CI programs to boost efficiency, reliability, and safety on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years manufacturing experience (GMP preferred), and familiarity with PLCs, MES, and 24V controls. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma training preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably GMP.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analysis for process failures.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions.
• Develop and maintain Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA).
• Improve production line efficiency to increase OEE.
• Support maintenance in equipment troubleshooting.
• Re‑engineer existing equipment to meet optimization, reliability, safety, throughput, and process requirements.
• Confer with management to implement plans and ensure CI goals are met.
• Lead CI initiatives in 5S, Waste Reduction, and Value-Stream Mapping.
