Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. in Arkansas is seeking a hands-on Engineering Capital Projects Supervisor responsible for day-to-day supervision of contractors, equipment vendors, and project teams on approved capital projects.

You will plan, schedule, install and validate equipment, assist in facility design, and drive project scope, budget, and timelines while collaborating with technical staff and stakeholders to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 1+ years related industry experience.
• Preference for related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate contractors and equipment vendors on capital projects.
• Plan, schedule, construct, install and validate equipment for approved projects.
• Assist facility design and implementation of new equipment.
• Lead project delivery to meet scope, budget and schedule with stakeholders.
• Maintain familiarity with Simmons operating systems and LEAN practices.
• Travel domestically to and from multiple facilities as needed, approximately 25%.
