Job summary

ADM is seeking a Process Engineer for its Hutchinson, KS protein manufacturing facility. The role focuses on managing plant capital projects and optimizing processes using historical data and standardized continuous improvement methods.

You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, EHS, and QFS to drive improvements from scope development to start-up. Work closely with the plant Leadership Team, Division Engineers, and Performance Excellence colleagues to meet safety, quality, cost, yield,

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or 5+ years in a relevant manufacturing role.
• Experience with food manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to lead and collaborate across operations, maintenance, EHS and QFS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital projects including scope development, approval, funding, equipment spec and installation.
• Manage budgets, training, contractor oversight, spare parts and maintenance planning in CMMS.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to meet safety, quality, cost and reliability KPIs.
• Develop and update SOPs and work instructions in line with EHS and QFS standards.
