Role Overview

The Process Engineer for the body line is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes related to vehicle body assembly, focusing on improving efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Design and Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs; design, test, and upgrade systems; conduct simulations and risk assessments.
  • Quality Control: Establish standards, monitor performance, and implement best practices to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Technical Support: Provide training and troubleshoot issues; collaborate across departments.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations; develop safety procedures.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document processes and report on performance improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field; advanced degrees/certifications are a plus.
  • 6-8 years of process engineering experience in manufacturing, preferably in automotive body assembly.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; proficiency in process simulation tools.
