Job description

This developmental role involves working across Vancouver and Gresham Carton Plants, providing technical support to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. The role includes supporting process improvement projects, managing trials, analyzing process data, and assisting with KPI management.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing production and quality data to analyze issues
  • Implementing and troubleshooting manufacturing processes
  • Managing trials and process improvements
  • Supporting outage planning and operational scheduling
  • Analyzing process trends and monitoring costs
  • Training personnel and assisting in budget preparation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science, or related field

Skills:

  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective communication and leadership skills

Schedule & Physical Demands:

  • Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and nights
  • Extended sitting or standing, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs, PPE use

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $65,025 - $86,700
  • Comprehensive health, retirement, and voluntary benefits
