Advancement to Operations Manager

Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer to support the new manufacturing group for cold plates used in advanced electronics and data centre cooling. You will move designs from prototype to repeatable low-volume production and interface with customers, suppliers, and the plant’s manufacturing teams.

Experience with aluminium fabrication processes is preferred, including extrusion, welding, brazing, tube bending, CNC machining and pressing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of aluminium fabrication processes (extrusion, welding, brazing, tube bending, CNC machining, pressing).
• Ability to interface with customers, suppliers and manufacturing groups.

Responsibilities

• Support new production of cool plates for data-centre cooling, reporting to Plant Manager and lead Engineer.
• Take projects from prototype to repeatable low-volume production.
• Interface with customers, suppliers and all manufacturing groups.
• Opportunities for progression to Operations Manager as production scales.

Requirements:

• You will support the new manufacturing group for cold plates production for advanced electronics and data centre cooling.
• Process Engineering knowledge in some or all of the following:
  • Aluminium fabrication to include extrusion, welding, brazing, tube bending, CNC machining and pressing.
• Capable to interface to customers, suppliers and all manufacturing groups.
• If process engineering knowledge in the above is outside of aluminium you will be considered.

Duties:

• This is a new position reporting to the Plant Manager and the key Engineer to support new production of cool plates used for cooling data centres.
• You will take from prototype build to repeatable low volume production.
• Interface to customers, suppliers and all of the manufacturing group.
• This position offers advancement to a Operations Manager position.
