Job summary

Littelfuse is seeking an engineering professional to monitor line lead times and drive process improvements at our facility. You will perform studies, analyze parameters against control charts, and implement corrective actions while maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance.

Ideal candidates have an engineering degree with 1+ year in molding, strong knowledge of SPC/QC tools, FMEA, DOE, and Minitab, plus project management and Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

• Proficient with SPC, QC tools, FMEA, DOE and Minitab.
• Project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, update and control line lead time performance.
• Perform studies for process or equipment improvements.
• Review machine parameters vs control chart data and act on out-of-control trends.
• Generate and revise procedural documents and work instructions.
• Conduct root cause and corrective/preventive action plans.
• Perform qualification and setup for new projects and materials.
• Evaluate new methodologies, materials or equipment.
• Ensure compliance with documented procedures; support quality activities.

About the job:

• Monitors, updates and controls lead time performance of the line.
• Performs studies for process or equipment improvements and feasibility.
• Reviews and analyzes machine parameters versus control chart data and initiates actions for out-of-control and trend characteristics.
• Other duties that may arise in the course of employment as designated by the supervisor or manager Generates and revises procedural documents and work instructions.
• Performs root cause and failure analysis and schedules action plans relevant to designed correctiveand/or preventive measures.
• Performs qualification and set-up relevant to new projects and corresponding materials, equipment or methods.
• Performs evaluations on new methodologies, materials or equipment.
• Ensures compliance of all concerned employees pertaining to the documented operating procedures.
• Supports and participates in quality-related activities, issues and actions creation and implementation

About you:

• Graduate of an Engineering Course 1+ year of work experience in the same capacity and molding process
• Well-versed in statistical tools such as SPC, QC Tools, FMEA, DOE and software like Minitab
• With project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Six Sigma Greenbelt certified
