Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Process Engineer based in the United States.

This is a newly created opportunity focused on bringing structure, clarity, and consistency to the integration of newly acquired partner firms.

You will lead post-LOI discovery efforts to understand business processes, client workflows, technology environments, and operational models.

You will translate those findings into a clear target-state architecture, identifying gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

A key part of the role is building a repeatable integration framework and toolkit where no standardized playbook currently exists.

You will collaborate across Legal, Finance, Operations, Technology, Leadership, and partner organizations to develop sequenced integration roadmaps.

By organizing post-close changes into coordinated releases, you will help teams anticipate transitions and reduce disruption.

The role combines process engineering, systems thinking, project coordination, change management, and stakeholder engagement in a growing financial-services environment.

Accountabilities
  • Lead post-LOI discovery with newly acquired partner firms to understand current operations, workflows, systems, technology, and client-service practices.
  • Document current-state processes, systems, workflows, and technology environments, translating findings into the broader operating architecture.
  • Analyze gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities between partner-firm operating models and target-state processes.
  • Build and continuously improve a repeatable framework, toolkit, and methodology for partner discovery, evaluation, and integration.
  • Develop sequenced integration roadmaps in collaboration with Legal, Finance, Operations, Technology, Leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Organize post-close operational changes into coordinated releases that enable partner firms and internal teams to anticipate, prepare for, and manage transitions effectively.
  • Maintain high-quality process maps, systems inventories, workflow diagrams, and other documentation for use by integration and deal teams.
  • Serve as a subject-matter resource on core operating systems, including Aspen, and their application to partner integration.
  • Support change management, stakeholder communication, and adoption as partner teams transition to new operating processes and systems.
  • Conduct onsite discovery and integration-planning activities at partner locations as needed, with regular travel expected.
  • Manage multiple priorities in an evolving environment and take on additional responsibilities as business needs require.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; relevant certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma, or PMP are a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in business process documentation, workflow design, systems evaluation, technology implementation, or related process-engineering disciplines.
  • Experience in wealth management, registered investment advisory firms, or financial services is strongly preferred; familiarity with the Aspen platform is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, business integrations, organizational transformation, or similar acquisition environments is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM or deal-management platforms is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex and sometimes incomplete information into clear, practical plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders during sensitive organizational transitions.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to create structure, documentation, and repeatable processes where no established playbook exists.
  • Comfortable operating independently and navigating ambiguity while simultaneously developing new frameworks and delivering day-to-day integration work.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, technology, operational, and leadership teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to partner firm locations as business needs require.
Benefits
  • Base salary of $85,000–$95,000 USD, with actual compensation determined by factors including location, experience, education, skills, and certifications.
  • Eligibility for incentive compensation through an applicable company incentive program.
  • Flexible professional working environment, with the position available from a professional office or dedicated home office.
  • Monday-Friday schedule, generally 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility for early or late hours based on business needs.
  • Medical coverage through multiple Cigna plan options, including High Deductible Health Plans and a traditional co-pay plan; Kaiser options are available in California.
  • Health Savings Account with company contributions for eligible HDHP participants.
  • Comprehensive dental and vision insurance.
  • Company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance.
  • Company-paid short- and long-term disability insurance, plus supplemental coverage options.
  • Supplemental life and AD&D, short-term disability, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity insurance.
  • Dependent Care Savings Account and Employee Assistance Program.
  • 14 company-paid holidays, including a full week off around Thanksgiving.
  • Generous paid time off for vacation and sick leave.
  • Family Medical Leave and 8 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Maternity support combining company-paid short-term disability, supplemental disability coverage, and parental leave.

  • 401(k) retirement plan with Traditional and Roth options, per-pay-period matching, and an after-tax contribution option.
  • Pet insurance.
  • Access to personalized financial planning and guidance from internal financial professionals at preferred employee pricing.
  • Ongoing opportunity to shape a newly created function and build scalable integration processes from the ground up.
