Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform that offers products and services across Fanatics Commerce, Fanatics Collectibles, and Fanatics Betting & Gaming. The platform allows sports fans to buy licensed fan gear, collect physical and digital items, and bet on sports events.

About The Team

Fanatics Collectibles operates at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology. As part of the broader Fanatics ecosystem, it leverages a digital sports platform that spans over 900 sports properties and engages more than 81 million fans, reimagining the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators.

Position Summary

The Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing industrial processes to increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce costs. This role develops new processes, improves existing systems, troubleshoots issues, and ensures products meet quality and safety standards. It requires strong analytical skills, hands‑on problem‑solving, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams across production, quality, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the 5S Program and support Lean implementation.
  • Develop projects that solve opportunities shown on KPI using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to optimize processes and reduce waste.
  • Share best practices, Lean tools, and techniques with team members and other departments to foster continuous improvement culture.
  • Conduct process analysis to identify improvement areas and implement solutions to reduce waste and increase throughput.
  • Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and resolve issues or roadblocks during the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), PFMEAs, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process‑related issues through root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality systems, and safety regulations.
  • Train production and maintenance staff on new processes, procedures, and equipment.
  • Support capital projects involving equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant field.
  • 3–5 years of manufacturing work experience.
  • At least 2 years as a production supervisor or industrial engineer.
  • Experience with Global 8D Problem‑Solving Methodology.
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen; Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to present ideas to a diverse audience from hourly workforce to executive leadership.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to develop and interpret KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross‑functional projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
  • Desire to speak Spanish.
Other Functions
  • Assist with special projects or initiatives (e.g., process audits, performance reviews, or strategic planning). Adapt to changing priorities.
  • Provide support to other departments on continuous improvement challenges or opportunities.
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders and team members, using it to refine strategies and approaches.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices; propose and pilot new tools or methodologies.
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to respond to urgent issues or changes in project scope, which may involve adapting to varying work conditions or unexpected challenges.
Environment and Scheduling
  • Work is performed in an administrative (50%) office and a production floor (50%) setting.
  • Must be flexible and available for additional hours and days when necessary.
  • Ability to stay focused during long shifts and high‑pressure situations.
