Position Summary

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for managing the maintenance and repair of production equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime. This role supervises maintenance mechanics, coordinates daily tasks and preventive maintenance, and addresses urgent repairs. The position works closely with production and quality teams to support equipment improvements, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, requiring strong technical skills and hands‑on leadership.

Essential Functions
  • Direct, manage and train maintenance mechanics, ensuring efficient execution of tasks and repairs.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system faults to minimize production disruptions.
  • Oversee and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and longevity.
  • Partner with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement and equipment upgrades.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform other projects for the company as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of all aspects of maintenance (electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.)
  • Organization and planning skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Follow‑up skills
  • Math aptitude
  • Self‑starter and team player
Environment and Scheduling
  • Work is performed in a machine shop and manufacturing plant setting.
  • Must be flexible and available to work additional hours when necessary.
