International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and support new product development in South Brunswick, NJ, onsite role.

You will design and execute lab and pilot-scale experiments, analyze data, and prepare technical reports to drive process improvements and scale-up. The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and 3+ years in chemical or related manufacturing, with strong collaboration across R&D, Operations, Quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing or research environment.
• Experience supporting engineering activities for capital investment projects in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale experiments for new product development and process improvements.
• Coordinate preparation of sample batches for customer evaluations and internal development activities.
• Lead manufacturing trials and scale-up activities, translating laboratory processes into safe and effective commercial production methods.
• Develop temporary batch instructions and process change documentation for non-standard manufacturing activities.
